Founded by our Director, Bill Robson, the Cyber Trails team has over 20 years of experience in protecting businesses, Australia-wide. Bill’s passion and desire to ‘‘do it right’’ lead to the decision for Cyber Trails to be borne and continue his cyber career under his own banner.

Bill’s background and extensive career in Penetration Testing has paved the way for Cyber Trails to use this knowledge of where Cyber Security breaks in the real world; combined with GRC practices to help recognise, prioritise, and mitigate risks for clients.

In combining Bill’s experience from Red Team Offensive Security to Blue Team Defensive Security, Cyber Trails are genuine Purple Team operators.

We strive to make practical, real-world improvements for our clients. Our focus is on businesses that are resource constrained, have high levels of regulatory compliance and/or operate in a modern cloud/serverless infrastructure. Start-up businesses are a particular speciality, with a focus on (but not limited to) FinTech, HealthTech and InsurTech.

From an operational security perspective, we are fortunate to reside on both sides of the fence and engage with many operational models. From the under resourced IT one-man-band through to advanced DevSecOps teams.
